1. Today, April 23, 2011, we woke up to snow on the ground! So much for outdoor Easter egg hunts. Thank heavens it's gone now. I think someone up there missed the spring memo.
2. Just before leaving for Holy Thursday Mass, Miss Monica skillfully managed to spit up down my shirt causing me to need to change and then she continued her bathroom marathon by going while we were changing her. Good thing I got laundry detergent for .88 cents last week.
3. I have started couponing (hence the .88 cent laundry detergent). I'm not like that TV show, "Extreme Couponing," but just give me time. Just kidding. It's impossible for me to be that extreme because no stores around here double coupons, but I can already see how much money we will be saving after only two weeks.
4. Speaking of money, this week we are officially debt free! I know we don't own a house so it's not that amazing, but I'm proud of no credit card, car loans or school loan debt.
Good job! Being debt free is freeing. You'll have to share your couponing strategy. I've been dabbling, but I know I can get better. BTW I added you on Skype. We should set a date! Miss you. Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteAWESOME accomplishment(s)!!
ReplyDeleteDave Ramsey fans? :) We are here. You should call and scream, "We're debt freeeeeeee!" (cue Braveheart yelling, "Freedom!") Way to go, Souza Family.
ReplyDeleteWhat!? I pay my student loans double each month and still got at least 3 years to go. I'm not married and no kids, LOL. I'm impressed! (:
